Ensemble Obsidian

Obsidian is a flexible ensemble commissioning new music and bringing it to unlikely places and venues. Our artistic focus is mainly contemporary classical music, experimental and improvised music and we have collaborated with Nate Wooley and the Borealis experimental music festival.

PROJECTS

Through our production company Obsidian Produksjoner, we aim to support local composers and bring new works to light. One of Obsidians main goals is to take experimental music on the road and spread it outside of the trodden path.
