Ensemble Obsidian
Ensemble Obsidian and sister group, OSME - Obsidian Spontaneous Music Ensemble, are flexible ensembles commissioning new music and constantly searching for new ways of sonic expression. Our artistic focus is mainly contemporary classical music, experimental and improvised music and we have collaborated with Nate Wooley and the Borealis experimental music festival.
Through our production company Obsidian Produksjoner, we aim to support local composers and bring new works to light. One of Obsidians main goals is to take experimental music on the road and spread it outside of the trodden path.
